Challenge

The Burger Theory Restaurant near KCI Airport was newly built and running in the Holiday Inn. They had a website built in October 2016 by another company, but it was not providing the results they were looking for. With the help of Voltage, they discovered that their website was not search engine optimized at all: it had no titles/meta descriptions, no unique content, no alt text for images, no menu, and many other issues. Also, the website was not showing up in search results, even when you searched the term “Burger Theory Kansas City”.

Solution

The Voltage team took over the website in April 2017. Using best practices, Voltage optimized the website for search. We added titles/meta descriptions, wrote unique copy for each page that included targeted keyword phrases, added menus, image alt tags, synced it with Google Search Console, updated the local listings across the web, and more.

Voltage increased Burger Theory's organic search by 516% through SEO best practices.
