If you made it to this blog post without seeing or hearing anything about The Digital Marketing Success Plan™, then I want to say “hello” and welcome you to the topic.

Over the past year, I have gone on a journey. It started with working with my team to refine our initial strategy and planning process for digital marketing. It resulted in our development of the START planning framework that arrives at a unique Digital Marketing Success Plan™ for each client.

I took that five-step framework, a number of personal stories, and “how to” application and put it into my Amazon best-selling book that published in July. The topic and book have been well received and I am proud to openly and transparently show my process to the world. The digital marketing world is complicated, rapidly changing, and full of jargon and process.

I often say that Google (as well as agencies) will take our money whether we’re seeing ROI or not. It is easy to just jump in and hope to figure it out as we go. However, I’ve also seen way to many situations where companies lost a lot of money and wanted to write off entire marketing channels or working with agencies entirely. Sadly, that type of experience hurts as I know the power of a well-planned, documented, and accountable strategy and plan.

I’ve got a number of resources to point you to for The Digital Marketing Success Plan but encourage you to check out my dive into the topic on Search Engine land titled How to START Building a Modern Digital Marketing Plan.
